Terra cotta pottery has been a favorite in the kitchen for 10,000 years. Today, our potters still build timeless functional works from the durable clay with a contemporary style. Made in Oregon, each tray is shaped by hand, intricately painted by hand with multiple underglazes, provided with a durable lead-free clear glaze, and fired multiple times for a strong, permanent finish. The Blackbird motif features rich black and white glazes hand-painted atop the natural red-russet color of the terra cotta clay.
